RCS Voices’ first public performances were in 2015, initially in programmes with a Baroque bias, at St Margaret’s Newlands and the Conservatoire itself. Further appearances include a concert of music for male voices and horns as part of the Cottier Chamber Music Project in the West End Festival in June, including a world premiere by David Kirchner. In summer 2015 the choir increased in size to make its Edinburgh International Festival debut as the chorus for Stravinsky’s The Rakes’s Progress with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra conducted by Sir Andrew Davis.
