Linlithgow Arts Guild offers top-class concerts of mainly classical music, and has been bringing Excellence in Live Arts to the town since 1969. We warmly invite you to share performances of the highest quality with us in a friendly environment. Our activities in 2020-21 were curtailed by the Pandemic, but we are now resuming concert promotion.

In July and August 2021 we are organising a series of short daytime concerts which we hope will help audiences to resume concert-going after a long break. These are free events with limited audience numbers and priority booking for current members. We are also working to provide a classical music workshop at a local school later in the year.

Our regular series of top-class classical concerts resume in September 2021.

Students and staff from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland will perform in Linlithgow during July and August this summer. Thanks to a grant, secured from Chamber Music Scotland and funded by Creative Scotland, Linlithgow Arts Guild is organising 5 socially distanced events in the town. There will be 4 concerts, of about 1-hour duration around the middle of each day in St. Michael’s Parish Church plus a Children’s concert.

The dates and times are shown below and details are on the corresponding events pages.

Priority tickets will be made available to members who have subscribed to the Arts Guild in the past year, with tickets not taken up by the members being available for public booking by phone or through the individual event pages of this website from 2 weeks before each event. Entry will be free of charge, and donations towards the costs, including artists fees, will be invited.

Our winter concert series opens on Saturday 9th September. We have identified dates, artists and event programmes for a series of 8 concerts, for which Season Tickets and individual event tickets will be available. These are detailed on our Programme Pages with ticketing links for each event. Season Tickets, which include membership, are available using the PayPal link on the Membership Page and a Membership-only option is also available.

We work very hard to be able to attract artists of major international standing to Linlithgow. The cost of inviting musicians of this calibre will never be met from ticket sales alone. You can make a donation of any size and help us continue to welcome great classical music to Linlithgow.
