Linlithgow Arts Guild offers top-class concerts of mainly classical music, and has been bringing Excellence in Live Arts to the town since 1969. We warmly invite you to share performances of the highest quality with us in a friendly environment. Enjoy some refreshments with friends in the interval and have some thoroughly enjoyable evenings of wonderful entertainment.

Due to the Coronavirus we have withdrawn from presenting concerts which had been identified for the 2020-2021 season. We would normally offer a series of about 8 events from September/October to April, with options to buy tickets for individual events or a discounted season ticket for the whole season. However, we now hope to be able to offer a smaller number of events from January 2021 and just to sell tickets for these as they are confirmed. We will not be able to offer the usual season ticket (which includes annual membership of the Arts Guild), but hope that as many people as possible will purchase annual membership for £10.

We have joined with several other Scottish music societies in sponsoring a concert by the Broen Ensemble, a group of young Scottish musicians (and Tunnell Trust Prizewinners) who were to have been part of this year’s programme.

The concert, for string septet, features Tchaikovsky’s “Souvenir of Florence” and “Metamorphosen”, by Richard Strauss.

The recording is available exclusively to sponsors for the next 3 months, after which it will be promoted more widely by the performers while remaining open to our members for the rest of 2021.

We are contacting members and recent former members of Linlithgow Arts Guild to give them free access to this event. We will also make this available to any new members who join in this period.

We are keeping open the possibility of holding a garden party or open-air event before the end of this summer, and we will publish further information if this and any other events become feasible.

Tickets will be available HERE when the events have been confirmed. We also hope to continue to sell tickets through "Far from the Madding Crowd" in Linlithgow High Street. To ensure social distancing ticket numbers may be restricted, and priority booking will be available to members.

Membership of Linlithgow Arts Guild can be purchased for £10 CLICK HERE

Payments can be made by credit or debit card via PayPal. You will also be given the opportunity to offer Gift Aid.

Membership includes: Priority booking for concerts
Priority access to our Garden Party and to member-only events
Contributing to funds to cover admin costs
  Support for Linlithgow Arts Guild

We would normally also offer an annual season ticket, inclusive of membership, but regret that we are not able to do so for the 20/21 season because of uncertainties of the difficulties of forward planning in the present situation.

We work very hard to be able to attract artists of major international standing to Linlithgow. The cost of inviting musicians of this calibre will never be met from ticket sales alone. You can make a donation of any size and help us continue to welcome great classical music to Linlithgow.

Donations can be made by credit or debit card via PayPal
